AI4PKM
AI for Personal Knowledge Management. Korean IT engineers in the Seattle area building AI-powered Second Brains — and the community connecting them.
The Project
AI4PKM started in early 2025 as a project among Korean IT engineers in the Seattle area. The goal: combine AI and PKM (Personal Knowledge Management) to build a true Second Brain — a knowledge system that doesn't just store information, but actively helps you think, connect ideas, and create.
What began as individual Second Brain development has gradually shifted toward something bigger: forming a community of Second Brains. As each member's system grows, the real value emerges from connecting them — sharing structures, workflows, and insights across a network of like-minded builders.
The community has also expanded to include interested participants from Korea, creating a cross-Pacific collaboration around AI-powered knowledge management.
What We Build Together
- Personal Second Brains: AI-integrated knowledge systems tailored to each individual's work and thinking style.
- Community Knowledge Network: Connecting individual Second Brains to share structures, tools, and insights across the group.
- Semantic Capture Systems: Moving beyond tags to meaning-based, AI-assisted organization.
- Agentic Retrieval: AI agents that scan your personal knowledge base to surface answers and patterns.
